Mike started welding at only 6 years old. He was always most interested in the artistic side of metal work. All of his work is one of kind.

“People have an image of what matters to them. Sometimes they have a photo or a drawing. I create from what they share with me. All my pieces are handcrafted and designed to last for decades.”

Mike uses a hand controlled plasma cutter to create metal signs and artwork. "I use recycled materials whenever possible. Sometimes people have material that they want to incorporate into the design. In one situation a family had the reins from their original horse team incorporated into the design."

He’s used tractor seats, wagon wheels, horseshoes, an anvil, the silhouette of a family at a rodeo and much more.
